# Wider wellbeing and Aura Geode research

Reviewed 24 September 2026. This research map brings the supplied *AURA GEODE to MACRO* draft, *Colon Cancer AltTherapy References* bibliography and *Clinical Research Path for Aura of Dementia* into conversation with published work. The Geode trial remains a plan. The linked studies below were conducted by other teams.

## What the wider reading opens up

| Research lane | What has been studied | A useful question for this project |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Oxygen and tissue repair | A [review of eighteen trials](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37585677/) found signs of benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy for selected late radiation tissue injuries. A [separate wound-healing trial](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20427683/) studied people with difficult diabetic foot ulcers. | Which clearly chosen group, repair measure and follow-up period would suit a future supervised study? |
| Movement and daily life | A [completed randomised trial of 889 people](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40450658/) reported longer disease-free survival with a structured exercise programme after colon cancer chemotherapy. | How might a local wellbeing programme support movement chosen around people's lives, with the chamber as one separate option? |
| Sound and vibration | A [small randomised crossover study](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30219444/) in people with cancer found improved immediate wellbeing after vibroacoustic music compared with rest. | Which sound and gentle-vibration settings suit a person, and what do their reports and simple physiological readings show? |
| Meaning and expectation | A [262-person randomised study](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33605656/) found greater symptom improvement from openly described placebo than from a no-pill comparison in irritable bowel syndrome. | How might expectation, trust, ritual and reflection be studied openly alongside measured change? Luke's proposed mind-over-matter coefficient belongs in this future design work. |
| Food and the microbiome | A [20-person single-arm study](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38024475/) combined faecal microbiota transfer with immunotherapy and another drug for advanced colorectal cancer. Its design offers an early clinical lead for more focused comparisons. | Which food, gut and wellbeing measures belong in a separate lifestyle or specialist-care study? |
| Fungi and medicinal extracts | The [National Cancer Institute's medicinal-mushroom review](https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/cam/hp/mushrooms-pdq) records clinical and laboratory work, including adjunct use in Japan and China. Different species and extracts have different evidence. | Which exact material, dose, purpose and participant group would make a future question answerable? |
| Fasting | A [systematic review of fasting during cancer treatment](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10123040/) found mixed, limited patient-centred evidence and recorded weight-loss concerns. | How might fasting and nutrition be studied as chosen, separately described experiences, with relevant clinical context and outcomes? |
| Light | [Photodynamic therapy](https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/types/photodynamic-therapy) combines a light-sensitive medicine with targeted light for selected conditions. [Photobiomodulation](https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/side-effects/mouth-throat/oral-complications-hp-pdq) also appears in supportive-care research. | Which light setting is being studied: ambient experience, a particular wavelength, or a distinct clinical treatment? Each has its own equipment and measures. |

These lanes bring genuine variety. The completed exercise trial, a small sound study, early microbiome combinations and established specialist light treatments speak to different people and outcomes. The *Colon Cancer AltTherapy References* file is a bibliography rather than one unified trial; several copied links contain line-break errors, so this map uses checked publication pages and public health sources.

## The Geode's distinctive contribution

The Geode-to-MACRO draft imagines a high-spec mineral-composite chamber using proposed high-purity Minjerribah quartz sand with selected crystals and other materials. The A$35,000 mass-produced shared-access chamber is a separate baseline model; the Geode's price remains open.

The draft's large menu of shell blends, atmospheres, light, music, scent, sensing and self-reflection gives the research programme its colour. It also suggests a practical sequence:

1. Record each material blend, source, batch, physical properties and construction method. Agree a local sourcing path.
2. Test pressure structure, oxygen and fire behaviour, breathing supply, controls, access and comfort as engineering questions.
3. Describe the session ingredients precisely. Compare one chosen change at a time first, then selected combinations across suitable groups.
4. Record baseline and follow-up measures that matter to participants, alongside optional heart, breathing, sleep, blood and other measures with a clear purpose.
5. Keep personal reflection and raw records on hardware chosen by the person. A separate agreement would describe any research sharing.
6. Publish what each study actually measured, including clear results that invite a change in design.

Crystal resonance and etheric claims are declared questions in this programme. Comparing otherwise matched shell blends, physical measurements and personal reports would give those questions a testable path. The older draft also sketches concealed changes to breathing gas; the public route focuses on transparent, agreed study conditions and a separately specified Personal Atmosphere Delivery System.

The [Extreme Matter Atlas](https://auraofintelligence.github.io/extreme-matter-atlas/) adds a neighbouring materials world. Its [GNoME page](https://auraofintelligence.github.io/extreme-matter-atlas/gnome.html) explains Google DeepMind's Graph Networks for Materials Exploration in plain language. The [original DeepMind publication](https://deepmind.google/en/blog/millions-of-new-materials-discovered-with-deep-learning/) reports about 2.2 million predicted inorganic crystal structures, including about 380,000 promising candidates for synthesis. Predicted atomic arrangements broaden the search space; the Geode's proposed quartz-composite shells have their own questions of sourcing, fabrication and measured performance.

## Two distinct clinical plans, plus the public studio

- **Aura Matrix Studio:** an emerging non-clinical public process for self-reflection, keywords and personal data used with different artificial intelligence systems.
- **Aura of Dementia:** the supplied software-focused clinical pathway sketches a Queensland feasibility study with people living with dementia and carers, then a pilot, then a wider comparison. Its proposed measures include usability, daily function, quality of life and carer experience. Those are planning stages and proposed partners, not completed trials or secured partnerships.
- **Aura Geode and Personal Atmosphere Delivery System:** a separate chamber and breathing-system research route, beginning with engineering and device evidence before a human study suited to its intended use.

The software pathway contributes a useful study shape: begin with people and usability, build a pilot around meaningful measures, then consider a larger comparison. The current [Australian clinical trial handbook](https://www.tga.gov.au/resources/guidance/australian-clinical-trial-handbook), [software device guidance](https://www.tga.gov.au/resources/guidance/understanding-how-we-regulate-software-based-medical-devices) and [2025 National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research](https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/research-policy/ethics/national-statement-ethical-conduct-human-research) give those future teams current Australian reference points. The 2025 National Statement took effect on 23 June 2026.

## Editorial boundary for the website

Published research is linked to its own population, intervention and outcome. Luke's declared directions are presented as research directions; proposed Geode studies remain plans. Personal choices and locally agreed co-operative arrangements stay with the people involved. The language aims to welcome inquiry while giving every idea a clear route to shared learning.
