What this is

An interactive demo of a horn torus lattice: 288 addressable cells on a surface that folds between a flat sheet and a closed torus, stacked seven shells deep. A separate Satellite Earth mode organises places without replacing the Horn Torus. Everything runs in one HTML page in the browser.

What it is for

It shows one component of a wider design. That design would map a person's own information into addressable space: interior faces private to the person, exterior faces shared on their terms, with maps of self, place and mind kept close together for intuitive navigation. This page demonstrates the surface, the folding and the addressing, and claims nothing beyond that.

Provenance

The interaction pattern was sparked by Interactive Photo Cube by Amit Asulin on brik.space. The geometry, the morph and all code here are original. The horn torus mind-mapping design predates that reference by roughly a decade.

Satellite Earth is a separate streamed map rather than a stretched world texture. The borderless base is the 2025 EOxCloudless Sentinel-2 mosaic by EOX IT Services GmbH, containing modified Copernicus Sentinel data and used non-commercially under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. It has a native 10 metre resolution and is not evidence of an exact campus, building or current business location.

Optional streets and useful local feature names come from OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap. They begin off. Political boundaries, country and state labels, and flag icons are deliberately excluded.

Map privacy

Opening Satellite Earth sends ordinary tile requests, including the visitor's IP address, referrer and requested map area, to the active map providers. This site sends no browser geolocation, account details or saved-place list to them, and contains no map analytics. Saved places remain in that browser unless the visitor downloads a CSV.
