# Style Guide

## Voice

Plain Australian English.

Write like a calm field notebook:

- clear
- practical
- honest about uncertainty
- alive to serendipity, romance, and spontaneity
- not overhyped
- not mystical as proof
- not corporate
- respectful of cultural context

## Banner

The public banner is Strange But True.

Joyful Responsible Abundance is a compass, not a declaration of arrival. The dataset can map towards it while staying honest that Luke does not yet have enough of it in his own life.

Travel scale is a spectrum. Do not force every page into either a tiny trip planner or a decade-long every-country mission. The forms should let the viewer choose the scale: one opening, one route, one season, many years, every country and territory, or anything between.

The private voice can be more direct:

- "Luke is travelling under the Strange But True banner."
- "This trip should produce useful work, not just motion."
- "The model can suggest, but Luke decides."
- "The agent can map options, but the traveller keeps authority."
- "This can be one adventure, a decade-long Earth map, or anything between."
- "Joyful Responsible Abundance is a direction of hope, not a sermon."

## Interface Feel

Modern, private, calm, and readable.

Avoid a generic tourist-site feel. This is more like a quiet mission dashboard:

- dark base
- readable cards
- clear status badges
- maps and tables where useful
- warning colours only for warning states
- no clutter

## Builder Rules

- Builder pages are first-class pages, not hidden repo extras.
- Every builder should show fields, live generated markdown, copy, download, and clear controls.
- Exported files should be agent-ready and readable in plain text.
- Keep the output private by default.
- Do not store sensitive live route, identity, romance, money, or contact details in public-safe files.
- Use `.md` filenames that explain their role, such as `travel-intake.md`, `strategy-run-{date}.md`, or `relationship-field.md`.

## Colour Notes

- Night ink: private dashboard base.
- Cyan: navigation and live checks.
- Green: ready/safe enough.
- Gold: insight, opportunity, Strange But True fit.
- Orange: caution.
- Red: stop/no-go.

## Copy Rules

- Do not call this a public travel-advice service.
- Do not call it a paid bundle.
- Do not promise real-time accuracy unless the source was checked live.
- Do not frame insurance as peace of mind or a default market purchase. Mention it only when law, entry, visa, venue, transport, or client rules require it.
- Do not make the traveller sound like a client being processed by a travel agent.
- Do not turn romance, attraction, or intercultural relationships into objectives, content, or proof of a theory.
- Do not say a pattern note predicts the future.
- Do not treat food, ceremony, hospitality, or cultural protocol as content to harvest.
- Always separate official evidence from intuition.
