Launch windows
You cannot leave for another world whenever you like. The cheap path is a long curve that arrives where the target will be, so Earth and the target have to line up first, like merging into moving traffic. Each lining-up is a launch window. But the schedule is not fixed: buy more push and the whole timetable bends. Slide the dial and watch.

Campaign board: every target's next door
Every target with its own crew, sorted by who is reachable soonest, at the extra push currently on the dial (census entries ride their host system's convoy). This is what a deployment queue would actually look like: the solar system sets the schedule, the engine you choose bends it.

Transfers are tangential-burn ellipses (hyperbolas when you push hard enough), coplanar and circular: teaching-grade. Bodies on very stretched orbits are met inbound at perihelion instead, and quasi-satellites sharing Earth's orbit have no clean windows at all.
