Make a content kit
This is the content kit I'm putting together on Minjerribah, out in the open, with AI as my only co-worker so far. It isn't finished; it needs people. Here's what I'm building, and how you'd make your own, wherever you are.
What I'm building here
A kit for telling the island's stories well
A content kit is the small, practical stuff that turns a good idea into something people can watch and share: how to hold a camera, get clean audio, light a face, and plan the shoot before you turn up. I'm writing it as portable Markdown tools, plain files you can read on any phone, covering camera, audio, lighting and local media planning. Because I'm doing it on my own with AI, it stays a description ahead of a working crew until the island gets involved.
If you're on Straddie, that's the open invitation: come and help make it, test it, and shoot the first stories with it. If you're anywhere else, read on.
Build your own, wherever you are
Same idea, shaped to your place
The reason it lives here, on Aura of Intelligence, is so it's more than my island's kit. Take it as a worked example and build your own: same idea, shaped to your light, your landscape, the stories your community actually tells. Not a copy of mine, yours, custom to your place and your lived experience.
That's the whole point of building your own tools and systems instead of renting someone else's. You keep what you make, and it grows the way your community does. The short video walks through how I'm approaching it, so you can borrow what fits and leave the rest.
