This lab deliberately lists no nations. The atlas names agreements, networks and public institutions, never peoples as members of anything. If your nation wants to be visible here, there are respectful ways to do it entirely on your own terms. If it doesn't, that decision needs no explanation and this page is still yours to strip for parts.

Four paths, equally honoured.
Write your nation's entry in your own words using the template below, and send it to us through the project's page, or however else you'd rather reach us. It is published as written, we do not edit a nation's self-description, ever. We may only ask where a link should point.
This project includes a file called ONBOARD_WITH_AN_AGENT: a pasteable prompt your own AI assistant can use to build your nation's version of this site, under your governance, reviewed by your people, hosted wherever you choose. Your agent, your keys, your review.
Refusal is a first-class outcome, stated in the design goals of this site. No follow-up, no "are you sure", no growth metrics were harmed. If something here was useful to read before leaving, it did its job.
A note on words: this project's files live on a site called GitHub, built for software developers. There, taking your own copy is called "forking," and a written note or request is called an "issue" or a "pull request", words that don't need to mean anything to you. If a button over there uses one of those words, it still just means what this page says: take your copy, add your words, or send a message.

Copy, fill only the lines you wish, delete the rest. Every field is optional; the only required thing is that the entry comes from people with the standing to make it, which we take on good faith and correct on request.

What this site promises in return

A nation's entry is published as written. Disagreement between an entry and our other pages is resolved in the entry's favour or by removing our text, not by touching yours.
One message from anyone plausibly connected to a nation removes that nation's entry while we check, removal first, questions later, restoration only on the nation's say-so.
Static pages, no analytics, no accounts, no cookies, no forms. What you read here is between you and your own device. The record of every change to this site is public and can't be secretly altered, entries land there when you choose to add them.
An entry here never implies a nation endorses this lab, its proposals or its author, and this site will never claim otherwise, in any medium, ever.

Why visibility might be worth it
The weave gets stronger with each fire lit.
Our honest pitch, flagged purple: the instruments in the record room grew powerful because peoples made themselves visible to each other across oceans: the data sovereignty networks, the trade arrangements, the treaty renaissances all began as a handful of nations comparing notes. An atlas that's free for anyone to copy, where nations describe themselves, on their own terms, in their own words, is a small contribution to that same weave. But visibility has costs too, and nations have been burned by every previous register ever compiled about them. Which is why this one is compiled by no one.
