Roadmap for a stronger community interface

The roadmap view keeps the website connected to governance, grant readiness, participation data and the practical work of running the club.

Visual roadmap

The AGM story becomes a public build path

This image is kept as source evidence. The website then converts it into clearer sections, public-facing calls to action and committee-ready next steps.

Build pillars

Four practical lanes for the next version

01

Public trust

Clear club story, events, conservation intent, meeting place, ABN and social links.

02

Member operations

Forms, member type routing, payments, communications, renewals and member pack delivery.

03

Committee memory

Agenda, minutes, action items, officer reports, calendar and responsibility tracking.

04

Grant readiness

Evidence of reach, participation, volunteer effort, events, outcomes and future needs.

Next actions

A sensible sequence from prototype to demonstration

Each step is small enough to explain, approve and improve without making the committee feel trapped by a giant tech project.

  1. Approve the story spine. Confirm the homepage language, member promise, conservation wording and community tone.
  2. Confirm the fee table. Verify membership, casual comp, supporter, fundraiser and merch prices before any Stripe item goes live.
  3. Choose the first live payment path. Start with one or two Stripe Payment Links, then add Checkout Sessions when form data needs to be passed through.
  4. Design the member form. Decide required fields, optional fields, privacy wording, newsletter consent and SMS consent.
  5. Pilot the meeting pack flow. Use one committee meeting to test agenda intake, report capture, minutes and action tracking.
  6. Publish the open-source repo. Use GitHub Pages for the prototype and keep sensitive documents out of the public repo.
  7. Scope the field-ops layer. Confirm tide, weather, GPS, upload, media-permission and digital-twin boundaries before collecting live field data.
  8. Set up the Google Drive vault. Create private Drive folders, Sheets ledgers and public-safe export rules before any agent reads club data.
