This is the back room. The front of the site talks to you; this page is where I talk to myself: every decision I haven't made yet, kept in the open so nothing out there has to pretend. If you like watching things get built, you're welcome here. If you don't, the front door is that way and it's warmer.

What I'm still deciding.
Purple means I haven't chosen yet. Each of these changes real copy on real pages the day I do.
- The one sentence. I haven't picked the single line that holds the whole body of work together. Four candidates from my own writing are below: one of them will win, or something better will arrive on a ferry ride.
- The boundary. Some of my public work touches intimate territory, and I haven't decided whether it belongs on a support-seeking front. Strangers form fast first impressions; unashamed is also one of my values. Both things are true, the call is mine, and it's still open.
- Who each tier speaks to. Neighbours, Australians, Pacific kin, patrons anywhere: the addresses will sharpen as the site meets real people.
- The numbers. Patron amounts and sponsor pricing aren't set, because I'd rather build the rails properly than bolt a subscribe button onto a promise. When numbers land, they'll be checked against current Australian rules, not guessed.
- The way I'm sorting things. The four questions I'm asking on the register are my first cut. They'll bend as the other ninety-odd projects come off the shelf.
- The name. "Right Place, Right Time" comes from my own travel notes. If it ever stops feeling true, it's easy enough to change.
Known seams
Threads I already know are showing.
Gold means checked against the real thing, not guessed.
- The music site is behind the music. The fourth album is finished (24 songs), but the music universe site still lists it as upcoming with 13 mapped. It gets its own update pass; this site follows the finished work, not the lagging page.
- Odyssey numbers reconciled. An earlier note said 250 territories over ten years; my own strategy page says roughly 256 over eleven. This site follows the strategy page.
- There's already a list of everything. The workshop behind this site is about 110 projects, and there's already a proper stocktake of them done by hand. Future shelving passes work from that, not from memory.
- Payment links are placeholders. The only live checkout today is the Strange but True catalogue, linked as-is. Nothing on this site pretends to take money before it can.
- My older fronts still overlap. iseeinfinity.com, lukecatalyst.com and the meet-luke page cover some of the same ground as this site. Fold in, link out, or run parallel: still deciding.
- The long life-log was quarried, not copied. There's a deep reflective log a layer down. It fed the person layer here as raw material only: I'm an evolving being, and no snapshot gets to freeze me.

Dates live here as provenance, not in the product copy.
- Voice rewrite. The first draft talked about itself: register keys, open slots, questions addressed to me on my own front page. - First public scaffold. One canonical core, four thin tier skins, the inherited support module, the provisional register and this page. How this site gets corrected
Corrections are the point.
Everything on this bench is provisional by design, and corrections are permanent. When I close a question, I only have to write the answer down in one place, and it shows up correctly on every page. That's the whole trick.
