Twins that nest, from your kitchen to the world.
The island twin on the previous page is one rung of a bigger, stranger, simpler idea called the Web3 Sensorium: a system where anyone can build a digital twin of a space they care for, at any size, and the twins fit inside each other the way the real places do. Your kitchen sits inside your home, the ferry terminal sits inside Minjerribah, the island sits inside its bioregion. Same pattern at every scale, like fern fronds, and nobody's rung outranks anybody else's.
The nesting ladder
No privileged scale.
Kitchen, garden, home, business, community building, island or town, bioregion, world, and out past that if you like to dream in that direction. The design's key rule is that the upper rungs are never built top-down. Nobody makes "the world twin" and hands it down; it can only emerge as the sum of what real people built and chose to share from below. That keeps the power where the knowledge is: with the person who actually keeps that kitchen, tends that garden, runs that hall.
The four-layer stack underneath
The design names four layers: L0 Home Cell (your own spaces, on your own devices), L1 Neighbour Mesh (what nearby cells agree to share), L2 Bioregion Guild (island and region scale), and L3 Planetary Commons (the widest shared layer). The personal rungs start private by default, and from there each person chooses how far up the layers to share. The working bet is that most people, once they trust the system, will share generously, the way almost everyone leaves location tagging on; sovereignty is the choosing, not the hiding. Community places and up follow public-boundary discipline. The shared computer room proposed on the co-op page is what would host the island-scale layer locally, so the island's model of itself lives on the island.
The hard guardrail
Twin, not master.
The design carries one rule above all the others, written in its own words as: digital twin, not a digital master. Twins of spaces, never dossiers on people. The point is to let communities test claims, compare evidence and model risks in the open, without turning citizens into raw material for somebody's data business. One clarification, because it matters: this rule is about being watched, not about knowing yourself. People building digital twins of themselves, their health, their own rooms and routines, by their own choice on their own devices, is the personal side of this same family of work, and always welcome. The line is consent. Your twin, made by you, for you, is sovereignty; a dossier made about you without you is extraction, and that is the thing that never gets built.
Where it's at
Honestly: on paper, on purpose.
The Sensorium exists today as detailed public design work and a small static prototype that has not been published yet; there is deliberately no link here until it is. Its deeper machinery, the peer-to-peer trust layer that would let twins talk to each other without a big company in the middle, is parked, clearly marked as parked. This page exists so decision makers can see the direction of travel early, not so anyone mistakes a design for a product. The working end of all this is the scan page: every real scan made now is a brick the Sensorium can later stand on.
