Story-craft questions

Make each person's choices visible without scripting the answer.

All intimate characters in this public project are adults. The useful craft question is whether every person can express what they want, understand what is being shared and remain a participant in how the relationship changes.

What is each person choosing?

Affection, intimacy, family, home, business, travel, publicity and data sharing are different choices that can carry different meanings.

Can the choice change?

A character can become more certain, less certain, curious, hesitant or newly interested as circumstances and self-understanding evolve.

What changes after an answer?

A yes, no, pause or new condition affects what happens next. The response becomes part of the relationship rather than a box ticked once.

Emerging intelligence and agency

Intelligence can assist without becoming the author of someone else's meaning.

An AI may translate, coordinate, remember, predict, simulate or interpret signals. The story becomes interesting where the system's interpretation meets each person's lived meaning and capacity to choose for themselves.

Translation and coordination

Help people share language, calendars, resources and possible plans across complex households, businesses and countries.

Reflection and possibility

Offer scenarios, questions and remembered preferences that help a person explore what they may want next.

Equal agency question

Can every person understand the system, override what it does on their behalf, and leave without losing access to ordinary life?

A supporting compass

Use the questions where they sharpen the story.

This page supports the future worlds without turning the Atlas into a relationship rulebook. Different characters, cultures and futures can reach different answers.
