Music and Glastonbury

From a Glastonbury crew pass to i C. infinity on stage. A long-held dream finds a new instrument.

Tiggy experiments with an Audima Sway-inspired MIDI controller while two adult women, one visibly pregnant, enjoy the music in an imagined rehearsal space.

Tiggy wants to perform i C. infinity for a living audience: to hear the music fill a space, feel a crowd respond and enjoy the moment with the people around him. The music is Luke’s. The performance dream began in a festival field in 2004.

The crew pass

Luke’s UK working holiday included a season with W.A.A.P. Wing and a Prayer Event Services, setting up major festivals including Glastonbury. He arrived as part of the crew. Somewhere in that experience grew the wish to return someday as a performer.

The work history map records that season. Tiggy’s stories follow the connection between the work that makes a festival happen and the pleasure of being there when it comes alive. The old lanyard belongs to one chapter; a future set belongs to another.

Sway is on its way

Luke has bought an Audima Labs Sway MIDI controller from batch 4, with arrival expected in November or December 2026. Once it arrives, his goal is to learn to perform i C. infinity with it.

Tiggy’s imagined rehearsal starts small: his hands on an unfamiliar controller, music changing as he experiments, friends listening and laughing with him between attempts. One woman is pregnant; both enjoy the evening’s discoveries. A sound worth keeping brings them back to the music.

The festival that never happened

Luke planned an Earth Arts and Music Festival at Naukuchiatal in India’s Himalayan foothills. It was never held. Story Forge gives that unrealised project another life in fiction, with art, technology, ecology and music gathered beside the lake.

Tiggy’s story arrives at a festival already busy with artists, musicians and people enjoying themselves. An invitation draws him into a conversation beside a musical light sculpture. Stage sound travels across the water while a different sort of performance dream begins to feel close.

Music, place and company

i C. infinity holds several visual and musical worlds. Coastal light, ferry windows and campfire circles belong to Songs of Straddie; ancient ruins, signal towers and waking machine intelligence belong to Chronicles of the Forgotten.

Those different worlds give Tiggy’s performances their own settings. An island gathering and a festival beyond Earth bring very different crowds. The desire to share the music remains personal. Glastonbury is still the dream venue, with a great many possible beginnings on the way there.
