Community clean energy
This is the clean energy exploration I'm working to start on Minjerribah, out in the open, with AI as my only co-worker so far. It isn't running yet; it needs people. Here's what I'm building, and how you'd start your own, wherever you are.
What I'm building here
Asking honest questions about powering the island
This one leads with questions, not answers. What would it take to power more of the island cleanly: rooftop solar and batteries, sand batteries holding heat, green hydrogen, neighbours sharing power across a street, plain bill ledgers so everyone can see where the money goes? I'm putting the whole thing together as a lab you can look right inside: the questions, the workings, the moving parts. Because I'm doing it on my own with AI, it stays a description ahead of a crowd until the island gets involved. It only becomes real the moment people show up to build it with me.
If you're on Straddie, that's the open invitation: come and help ground it. If you're anywhere else, read on.
Build your own, wherever you are
Same idea, shaped to your place
The reason it lives here, on Aura of Intelligence, is so it's more than my island's power question. Take it as a worked example and build your own: same idea, shaped to your climate, your grid, your roofs and the way your community pays its bills. Not a copy of mine, yours, custom to your place and your lived experience.
That's the whole point of building your own tools and systems instead of renting someone else's. You keep what you make, and it grows the way your community does. The short video walks through how I'm approaching it, so you can borrow what fits and leave the rest.
