Run a tip loop
This is the tip loop I'm working to start on Minjerribah, out in the open, with AI as my only co-worker so far. It isn't running yet; it needs people. Here's what I'm building, and how you'd start your own, wherever you are.
What I'm building here
Recovering useful material before it ships away
A tip loop is a lawful, local way to catch useful material on its way out: sorting, repairing and recycling on-island instead of watching it leave on a barge. It builds skills while it keeps value in the community a little longer. I'm putting the whole thing together as a lab you can look right inside: the plan, the rules to stay lawful, the moving parts. Because I'm doing it on my own with AI, it stays a description ahead of a crowd until the island gets involved. It only becomes real the moment people show up to build it with me.
If you're on Straddie, that's the open invitation: come and help ground it. If you're anywhere else, read on.
Build your own, wherever you are
Same idea, shaped to your place
The reason it lives here, on Aura of Intelligence, is so it's more than my island's tip loop. Take it as a worked example and build your own: same idea, shaped to your local rules, your waste stream, your skills and what your community throws away. Not a copy of mine, yours, custom to your place and your lived experience.
That's the whole point of building your own tools and systems instead of renting someone else's. You keep what you make, and it grows the way your community does. The short video walks through how I'm approaching it, so you can borrow what fits and leave the rest.
