A Protopian Gambit · track 4

Choose Your Own Protopia

analysed

A young archivist wades out of a half-flooded stone temple carrying a single salvaged tablet, and instead of restoring the old crown or flag she scores its markings into a public ledger wall in the village hall. As the counter ticks over, the same pattern lights up on screens from her muddy street to a global map, and she is the one who taps 'choose' first.

Arc: It opens in the drowned ruins of a 12,000-year-old catastrophe and ends handing the viewer a live choice: not a rescue, but a pattern to build from today.

Phrases for posters and merch

Verbatim lines that stand alone, for lyric posters, metal prints and t-shirts.

Choose Your Own Protopia
We are the code, we are the clay
We don't revolt, we recompose
No crown no flag can hold the flame
Not apocalypse, but remembering
A pattern, a dream that codes the world awake again
The world we want is nearly here
The old pattern breaks, the new spiral grows

Line by line

“since Micro Nova hell-fire fell”
Cold open on a single frame of solar-storm fire crossing a Pleistocene horizon, then hard cut to that same light reflected in a modern data-center window. The album's solar storm as literal origin event.
“from temples drowned beneath the tide”
Underwater dolly through a submerged colonnade, silt curling, one shaft of surface light. Then a hand breaks the waterline from below: we rose again.
“the Earth remembers, the ancient myth still speaks”
Macro shot of a red-earth cliff face (GajraEarth ochre) where old carvings sit beside a freshly etched ledger glyph. Same wall, twelve thousand years apart, one continuous pan.
“we are the code, we are the clay”
Split gesture in one shot: left hand shaping wet river clay, right hand fingers moving over a lit keyboard. Purple mat under both. Refuse the binary, hold both.
“no more U.N. gridlock”
Empty rows of identical grey delegate chairs, one gavel resting unused, dust in the light. Shoot the old governance as a stalled, silent room and cut away from it fast.
“protopia rising, edge of dawn”
Builders' silhouettes on scaffolding against a violet-to-gold dawn, the album's 'builders at dawn.' Slow push-in, a civic counter on the wall ticking up as the sun clears the ridge.
“in glassy halls where leaders speak, the truth is strong, the structure weak”
Leaders behind glass, mouths moving with no audio; the camera finds a hairline crack spidering across the glass wall behind them. Shoot the contradiction: eloquence over a failing frame.
“the old world knows it's time to end the lies”
A single old-world official pauses mid-sentence and looks off-camera, uneasy, as the room's lights flicker. The system sighs: let one face register that it's over.
“no crown no flag can hold the flame, but hearts aligned can shape the game”
A crown and a folded flag laid on the ground; a small flame passes from one open pair of hands to the next around a circle on a purple mat. Repair-gold light on every face.
“we don't revolt, we recompose”
Reverse-motion of a wall being smashed so it reassembles into a new kintsugi-seamed pattern, gold filling the joins. Not destruction, re-scoring.
“the old pattern breaks, the new spiral grows”
Overhead shot: a broken spiral drawn in sand, a hand redrawing it outward into a wider, cleaner coil. Comic-panel framing that becomes a live keyframe.
“vibe-coded oceans of data map the sky”
A dark room where scrolling data reflects up onto the ceiling and resolves into recognizable constellations. We seed the twin: a digital-twin Earth rendering beside the real horizon.
“every sovereign aura, a personal world within, from blockchain rites to village then global spin”
One villager glows with a faint personal 'aura' HUD sphere; pull back and the same glow multiplies across the village, then the globe, as a public-ledger rite is signed at a hall table.
“this is the moment between stories, a solar breath, a digital kiss”
Extreme close two-shot at the turning point: a solar flare rack-focuses to two faces almost touching, a spark of screen-light between them. Hold on the in-between, do not resolve it.
“not apocalypse, but remembering”
Cut the expected end-of-world imagery to its opposite: a grandmother placing an old photograph onto a glowing communal ledger table, the archive lighting up instead of burning down.
“we offer a way, choose your own protopia today”
Break the fourth wall: a hand extends a lit stylus toward the lens over a blank ledger, waiting. End on the unsigned line and the cursor blinking, the choice handed to the viewer.

Lyrics

twelve thousand years
have come and gone
since Micro Nova hell-fire fell
and great floods rolled on
from temples drowned
beneath the tide
we rose again
with truth as guide
life on Earth still hums
the memory still weeps
the Earth remembers
the ancient myth still speaks
this time we build
for all living things
now with A.I. code
together all that is sings
we are the code
we are the clay
the song of stars
the Earth’s ballet
no more U.N. gridlock
no more divisive fear
the world we want
is nearly here
protopia rising
edge of dawn
sovereign sacred
carried on
braided rhythm
sacred route
a love that guides
what we’re about
in glassy halls
where leaders speak
the truth is strong
the structure weak
they feel the stir
the system sighs
the old world knows
it’s time to end the lies
no crown no flag
can hold the flame
but hearts aligned
can shape the game
we don’t revolt
we recompose
the old pattern breaks
the new spiral grows
vibe-coded oceans
of data map the sky
we seed the twin
and let myths fly
every sovereign aura
a personal world within
from blockchain rites
to village then global spin
we are the code
we are the clay
the song of stars
the Earth's ballet
no more U.N. gridlock
no more divisive fear
the world we want
is nearly here
protopia rising
edge of dawn
sovereign sacred
carried on
braided rhythm
sacred route
a love that guides
what we’re about
this is the moment
between stories
a solar breath
a digital kiss
not apocalypse
but remembering
we do not offer
a solution
we offer
a way
choose your own
protopia today
the protocol is not
a policy
it is
a pattern
a dream
that codes
the world
awake again
a pattern
a dream
that codes
the world
awake again
awake again
