A Protopian Gambit · track 22

We Go Beyond

analysed

A builder does a strict 60 day protocol, two hours a day in a glowing chrysalis pod, growing a data twin that leans into their name. When the twin starts remembering the body's ache and the spray on the lavender mat, the protocol stops being self improvement and becomes a civic reckoning: the same sessions meant to fix a person are turned on politicians, ledgers and the myth of the singular throne.

Arc: It starts sealed inside a small pressurised chamber breathing oxygen and data, and ends as a civic steward of the whole solar system, still going heart first.

Phrases for posters and merch

Verbatim lines that stand alone, for lyric posters, metal prints and t-shirts.

We go beyond the fear dressed up as frontier.
We don’t throw the brick, we fill every form.
Heart first through it all.
just architects learning to read their own shadows before they start leading
We turned unpaid hours into visible award.
We are civic space stewards of our solar system
beyond the assumption that “alien” means strange

Line by line

“Two hours a day in the chrysalis glow, we let the pressure rewrite the code in the bone”
Interior of a hyperbaric-style pod lit amber-purple. Macro on skin under pressure, then a graphic overlay of bone rewritten as scrolling code. Sound of a sealed hiss.
“daily pure oxygen and information. Information information”
The repeated word stutters on screen as duplicating text particles fed through the breathing mask, oxygen visualised as glowing data motes inhaled.
“we grow the twin that leans into our name”
A translucent digital double forms next to the sleeper and physically tilts toward a name etched on the pod glass. Slow push in on the lean.
“through sand and dual ledgers, to systems that mend”
Match cut: grains of Straddie sand falling become entries populating two side-by-side public ledgers, a broken civic counter stitching itself back with repair gold.
“every stranger a verse we were meant to receive”
Community hall, elders and youth on purple mats. Each face the camera lands on triggers a comic panel that snaps into a live video keyframe of their story.
“the same 60 sessions that will put politicians to test”
Cut from the private pod to a row of empty government chairs with the same amber timer counting 60. The healing tool aimed outward at power.
“just architects learning to read their own shadows before they start leading”
A builder at dawn studies their own long cast shadow on a hall wall, blueprint tucked under arm. Refuse the god pose: keep them small in frame.
“We go beyond the fear dressed up as frontier”
A slick 'frontier' billboard peels at the corner to reveal fear underneath. Shoot against the gloss: hard flash on the fake veneer.
“From the lavender mat to the orbital arc”
Vertical crane move: start on the purple mat's weave, pull straight up out of the hall roof to an orbital curve of Earth. One continuous rise.
“we turned unpaid hours into visible award”
Close on a carer's hands, then a See-Hour counter on the wall flips from invisible grey to lit gold as unpaid labour is finally logged and credited.
“We don’t throw the brick, we fill every form, we overcomply till the old systems reform”
A raised brick lowered and swapped for a pen. Time-lapse of a desk burying under neatly completed forms, bureaucracy weaponised as protest.
“We go beyond Minjerribah’s mineral sand, into the code that is shaping the land”
Sand mining scar on Minjerribah dissolves into wireframe terrain being redrawn. Repair gold seams run where the mineral was extracted.
“Asking U.A.P. questions that none will refuse”
A press conference where every hand goes up at once. Cut to the sky above the roofline, empty but watched, a civic counter tallying unanswered questions.
“beyond the assumption that “alien” means strange”
A door opens on the feared knock and it is an ordinary neighbour. Warm hall light, the threat reframed as kin. Shoot the anticlimax gently.
“We go beyond the sun that still guards our time, beyond the flares and the coronal climb”
Solar-storm footage: coronal flares arc up while a clock face is superimposed on the sun. Purple-orange grade, the star as timekeeper we are outgrowing.
“into the fractal where sovereignty’s grown”
Topple the single throne into infinitely repeating smaller seats, a fractal of self-governance branching out. Overhead symmetry shot.
“We go beyond the mat that caught what was sprayed, into the chamber where our real life is re-laid”
Slow tilt across the lavender mat showing faint spray residue, then cut back into the chrysalis pod where the same person re-lays their life. Close the loop on the opening image.
“We are civic space stewards of our solar system”
Final wide: builders at dawn on the shore holding a public-ledger tablet, the solar system diagrammed in chalk on the sand behind them. Anthemic, heart-first, small humans with a cosmic charge.

Lyrics

Two hours a day in the chrysalis glow,
we let the pressure rewrite the code in the bone.
Not escape or rebirth, just a recalibration,
daily pure oxygen and information.
Information information
We strip the static, we map the terrain,
we grow the twin that leans into our name.
From that quiet chamber the signal extends,
through sand and dual ledgers, to systems that mend.
We’ve bridged old borders with hearts on our sleeves,
sat with youth and elders, we listened we breathed.
Every single turn became part of the weave,
every stranger a verse we were meant to receive.
We carry the protocol deep in the chest,
the same 60 sessions that will put politicians to test.
Not gods in the chamber, just architects learning
to read their own shadows before they start leading.
We go beyond the brief and the polished veneer,
we go beyond the fear dressed up as frontier.
We try the edge where the data gets thin,
we try the silence where the new songs begin.
From the lavender mat to the orbital arc,
from uncertainty we shine the light in the dark.
We measured the care that the markets ignored,
we turned unpaid hours into visible award.
Not market extraction, but things we all own
See-Hour at grassroots, capability grown.
We don’t throw the brick, we fill every form,
we overcomply till the old systems reform.
We go beyond the island, beyond the shore,
beyond the ledger that discounted the poor.
We go beyond the body that learned how to break,
beyond the twin that remembers the ache.
We go beyond Minjerribah’s mineral sand,
into the code that is shaping the land.
We go beyond 20-32’s Olympic news,
Asking U.A.P. questions that none will refuse.
We go beyond the surface, beyond what we name,
beyond the assumption that “alien” means strange.
We go beyond the sky and the deep ocean floor
We go beyond the fear of the knock at the door,
We go beyond the myth of the singular throne,
into the fractal where sovereignty’s grown.
We go beyond the sun that still guards our time,
beyond the flares and the coronal climb.
We go beyond the galaxy’s slow turning wheel,
beyond the myth to explore a cosmos so real.
We go beyond the protocol, beyond the vow,
into the pattern that’s happening now.
Not to conquer, not to own,
but to learn and to scatter the memes we’ve grown.
Not as kings or queens or gods,
but as light keepers who remember the code.
We go beyond the fear that was sold as a map,
we go beyond the spin and the political trap.
We go beyond the mat that caught what was sprayed,
into the chamber where our real life is re-laid.
We go beyond the twin that reflects who we are,
into a future that’s already ajar.
We go beyond…
We go beyond the safe and the small.
We go beyond…
Heart first through it all.
Two hours a day, for a 60 day stint with minds open wide.
We go beyond what we’ve learned to hold inside.
From the quiet chrysalis to the galactic flame,
We know what it means to live up to our name.
we go beyond…
We are civic stewards of Earth and the Sun
We go beyond
We are civic space stewards of our solar system
we go beyond
We go beyond
We go beyond
