Born of the Goddess

analysed

A woman returns to Minjerribah barefoot off the ferry and follows a pull she cannot name up a dune path at moonrise. By the water she plants something in the sand at the tideline, and a campfire circle of local faces gathers as if she called their names. By dawn the thing she planted has broken through.

Arc: It starts with an invitation to feel the earth calling you home and ends with surrender, finding our fate in the goddess's love as she gives life to all.

Phrases for posters and merch

Verbatim lines that stand alone, for lyric posters, metal prints and t-shirts.

Born of the goddess
Fertile Earth, fertile soul
Minjerribah's magic, before our eyes
Where the wild things roam
The fire within
She knows your heart, she calls your name
We rise and create
No secrets to hide

Line by line

“Feel the earth beneath your feet, it's calling you home”
Open low and tight on bare heels stepping off ferry decking onto sand. No face yet, just the transfer of weight into warm ground. The land, not a person, is the first character.
“Minjerribah's breath, where the wild things roam”
Wide slow pan across scrubland at dusk: a wallaby freezing mid-graze, dune grass laid flat by wind. Treat the wind gust as an exhale, dust lifting on the beat of 'breath'.
“Her touch awakens life with the wave of her hand”
A woman's hand passes across the frame in foreground; rack focus so that as the hand sweeps, a fringe of grass or wildflowers behind it lifts and opens. One gesture, one visible response.
“In her womb, the world is born anew”
Shoot against the literal: not a body, but a tidal rock pool at first light, cupping shells and a curl of water like a cradle. Reflected sky trembling inside it.
“She's the mother of passion, the bringer of fire”
Cut to hands feeding driftwood to a small beach fire, sparks rising into blue dusk. Warm firelight on a few local faces watching, the only warm colour in a cool frame.
“On Minjerribah's shores, no secrets to hide”
A handwritten sign staked in the dunes, sun-bleached, half legible. Or a face turned fully open to camera with nothing held back, flat honest light, no shadow to hide in.
“In her power, we place our trust”
A circle of people on the sand, palms down on the ground rather than raised. Trust shown as leaning weight into the earth, shoulders dropping.
“On Minjerribah's land, where the spirits are warm”
Golden hour through she-oak needles, dappled warm light moving on skin. Handheld drift between figures so the warmth feels alive, not lit.
“Fertile Earth, fertile soul”
Split the idea across a match cut: dark turned sand in one frame, the flushed cheek and lit eye of a person in the next, same texture of warm grain. Body and ground rhyme.
“The moon is high, and the night is wild”
Push to true night: a full moon laying a silver road across the water. Silhouettes running the shoreline, hair loose, the sea gone metallic under the moon.
“We're the children of her ancient grace, In the dance of lust, we find our place”
A shoreline dance, two figures circling close in the wet sand where the tide erases their footprints as fast as they make them. Camera orbits with them, firelight edge-lighting shoulders.
“On Minjerribah's shores, we plant the seed”
Extreme close on fingers pressing a single seed into wet sand at the tideline, a wave sliding up to just kiss the spot. The gamble of planting where the sea will reach.
“She knows your heart, she calls your name”
A face at a ferry window turning sharply, as if hearing something offscreen over the engine. Reflection of passing water sliding across the glass and across the cheek.
“She breathes in the water, she lives in the trees”
Two linked shots as one breath: waves drawing back off sand (inhale), then wind combing through the treeline (exhale). The island itself breathing between sea and forest.
“The goddess rises, her children awake, On this sacred land, we create, we make”
Dawn. The campfire circle stirs and gets to work with their hands: mending net, shaping clay, raising a sign. Making shown as ordinary morning labour, not spectacle.
“In her love, we find our fate”
Return to the planted spot from earlier: a single green shoot has broken the sand at the tideline. Pull back wide to the empty bright beach, one small living thing holding the frame.

Lyrics

Verse 1
Feel the earth beneath your feet, it’s calling you home,
Minjerribah’s breath, where the wild things roam.
The goddess stirs, in the depths of the land,
Her touch awakens life with the wave of her hand.
In her womb, the world is born anew,
A journey of love, of life breaking through.
She’s the mother of passion, the bringer of fire,
In her arms, we feed our desire.
Pre-Chorus
Follow her voice, feel the pull inside,
On Minjerribah’s shores, no secrets to hide.
The goddess of love, of life, and lust,
In her power, we place our trust.
Chorus
Born of the goddess, life takes form,
On Minjerribah’s land, where the spirits are warm.
Fertile Earth, fertile soul,
In her embrace, we make it whole.
Born of the goddess, the journey begins,
Lust, love, the fire within.
From her touch, the world will rise,
Minjerribah’s magic, before our eyes.
Verse 2
The moon is high, and the night is wild,
Her breath is the wind, her heart untamed and wild.
We’re the children of her ancient grace,
In the dance of lust, we find our place.
Fertile minds, fertile hearts,
In her touch, every new day starts.
She’s the pulse of life, the seed of birth,
Minjerribah’s magic runs deep in the earth.
Pre-Chorus
Feel her touch, let it set you free,
On Minjerribah’s shores, we plant the seed.
The goddess of love, of fire, of flame,
She knows your heart, she calls your name.
Chorus
Born of the goddess, life takes form,
On Minjerribah’s land, where the spirits are warm.
Fertile Earth, fertile soul,
In her embrace, we make it whole.
Born of the goddess, the journey begins,
Lust, love, the fire within.
From her touch, the world will rise,
Minjerribah’s magic, before our eyes.
Bridge
She breathes in the water, she lives in the trees,
In the waves of Minjerribah’s seas.
With every step, with every glance,
We feel her power, we take the chance.
The goddess rises, her children awake,
On this sacred land, we create, we make.
Chorus
Born of the goddess, life takes form,
On Minjerribah’s land, where the spirits are warm.
Fertile Earth, fertile soul,
In her embrace, we make it whole.
Born of the goddess, the journey begins,
Lust, love, the fire within.
From her touch, the world will rise,
Minjerribah’s magic, before our eyes.
Outro
Feel the pulse, feel the call,
The goddess of Minjerribah gives life to all.
Born of the goddess, we rise and create,
In her love, we find our fate.
