Select one published mechanism and identify the evidence supporting its operation.

Molecular Machines
Explore molecular-scale motion without confusing a research mechanism with a finished medical product.

The need worth working on.
The phrase 'molecular machine' can describe very different research ideas. A useful proposal must identify the molecule or assembly, what changes state, how energy enters and how motion is observed. Claims about repairing bodies or manufacturing anything need far more evidence than a conceptual animation.
What the enterprise could offer.
Build a scientific visualisation and reproducibility service for one published molecular mechanism. Work with a qualified chemist to explain the experiment and its limits. The first deliverable would be an inspectable learning tool or analysis, with physical development confined to an appropriately supervised research programme.
People to build with
- Chemistry educators teaching molecular mechanisms
- Research groups communicating a specific result
- Founders evaluating whether a narrow laboratory tool has a customer
A mechanism people can interrogate
Reproduce a suitable model or analysis with a qualified chemist.
Create an animation that labels what is measured and what is illustrative.
Ask learners to explain the source of energy and the observation method.
Prepare a separate research question for any proposed new function.
The first result
A reviewed mechanism explainer, source trail and defined next research question.
What needs to be demonstrated.
Research frontier
The starting evidence
The catalogue entry does not specify a molecule or establish a new molecular machine. Its expanded brief begins with a literature-grounded mechanism.
The open question
The intended function, operating environment, control, readout and useful output remain undefined.
The next measurement
Check whether the selected reference result can be reproduced or independently interpreted from its published evidence.
Build the means to deliver.
Useful capabilities and resources
- A qualified chemist or molecular-systems researcher
- Appropriate reference literature and modelling tools
- A scientific visualisation designer
A possible business model
Research communication, teaching material or specialist analysis services before any novel material or medical product.
A leadership decision to practise
Decide whether the team's first role is education, research or instrument development, and keep its claims matched to that role.
People, consequences and decisions.
- Animation can make an uncertain process look directly observed.
- A molecular effect may not perform useful work at a larger scale.
- Medical interpretations may outrun the evidence.
If equality were being designed now...
- Does the explanation welcome learners without specialist vocabulary?
- Who can challenge an impressive claim before it enters public fundraising material?

Aura, a transcultural intelligence archetype
Bring the parts into a system people can trust.
Build alongside these ideas.
Make tiny fluid systems understandable through a visible, controlled flow experiment.
Engineering development
Investigate a crystal-based computing idea by defining exactly how information is represented and read.
Research frontier
Study programmable matter through a modest modular-robotics experiment with honest scale limits.
Speculative concept
Explore longevity research with a clear boundary between scientific questions and promises to people.
Research frontier
Follow existing public concept work.
Explore elements, crystals, metamaterials and frontier ideas through quantities, mechanisms and the nearest working technology.
Explore possible futures for relationships, living systems, intelligence, movement, science and culture.
From the original suggestion to a working brief.
Developed from original enterprise 87 in the 500 Queens VC NEW Long presentation (slide 17) and the planning document (page 8). This expanded brief is a proposed development path, not evidence of an operating venture or a confirmed partner.
Original title: Molecular Machines. The pilot, business model and learning connections on this page are proposed developments of that original idea.
