Choose one ordinary conflict in the proposed future world, such as care, ownership or access to energy.

Cinematic Universe
Create a shared story world where women shape the future as complex leads, makers and owners.
Follow the connections. Choose your direction.
The need worth working on.
A future civilisation becomes easier to discuss when people can see everyday life inside it. But a cinematic universe can also repeat a narrow beauty ideal or make women symbolic supporters of somebody else's adventure. This concept puts varied women in the decisions that move the story.
What the enterprise could offer.
Develop a women-led story studio connecting short films, illustrated scenes and interactive worldbuilding. Keep glamorous heroines alongside country women, larger women, nerdy inventors, migrants, mothers and older leaders, without turning any body type into a personality. Separate authored fiction from factual source material.
People to build with
- Writers, filmmakers and game makers seeking a shared world
- Community audiences exploring possible futures
- Women wanting meaningful creative and production leadership
One future, one lived day
Pay a small writing group to develop several characters with distinct goals and agency.
Produce a short scene or illustrated sequence using clearly agreed rights.
Screen it with the intended audience and ask what feels believable or missing.
Revise the story and document ownership before expanding the universe.
The first result
A finished pilot scene, character bible and agreed creative ownership record.
What needs to be demonstrated.
Practical pilot
The starting evidence
A small story production can be commissioned and reviewed now; the imagined world is not a forecast.
The open question
No production company, cast, rights agreement, audience demand or distribution partner is confirmed.
The next measurement
Ask the intended audience what they understood, whose choices mattered and whether they want the next story.
Build the means to deliver.
Useful capabilities and resources
- Writers, performers and a production lead
- A feasible production format and accessible screening
- Clear rights records and paid audience consultation
A possible business model
Commissioned stories, licensed creative work or audience-supported production, with contributors' ownership agreed before commercial use.
A leadership decision to practise
Choose who has creative authority and how writers, performers and community contributors share credit and value.
People, consequences and decisions.
- Representation can become visual tokenism without character agency.
- Shared worldbuilding can create unclear rights.
- Ambitious scope can prevent a first finished work.
If equality were being designed now...
- Do women of different bodies and backgrounds drive the plot and own the work?
- Can regional creators participate without relocating?
Begin with women's own experiences across bodies, ages, cultures and places. Invite disagreement and choose a practical change together.

Build alongside these ideas.
Use shared fictional worlds to explore real choices about future lives, communities and technology.
Practical pilot
Build a game-design learning studio where women create the worlds, rules and business decisions.
Practical pilot
Create paid stages and shared production resources for women with many ways of being visible.
Practical pilot
Create public AI art that invites people to question consciousness, agency and the futures they want.
Practical pilot
Follow existing public concept work.
A documentary concept connects everyday life with long-term resilience, existential threats and a seven-generation civilisation story.
Connect local stories, screen work, learning and trusted information through a staged community media proposal.
Explore possible futures for relationships, living systems, intelligence, movement, science and culture.
From the original suggestion to a working brief.
Developed from original enterprise 91 in the 500 Queens VC NEW Long presentation (slide 18) and the planning document (page 8). This expanded brief is a proposed development path, not evidence of an operating venture or a confirmed partner.
Original title: Cinematic Universe. The pilot, business model and learning connections on this page are proposed developments of that original idea.
