Shift workers, learners and travellers may need a reliable short stay without the cost or complexity of a full hotel room. Compact accommodation also raises serious questions about privacy, ventilation, noise, luggage, carers and body size. A glamorous rendering cannot answer whether a real person would sleep comfortably there.
What the enterprise could offer.
Develop a service and layout study for a small accommodation operator, comparing compact private rooms with capsule arrangements and conventional alternatives. Design with people of different heights, weights and mobility needs. A useful enterprise may emerge from booking, cleaning or guest-support improvements before any purpose-built accommodation is justified.
