Honour board and consultation

Make local support visible without turning the project into hype.

A warm public honour board can show pledges, volunteer time, in-kind help, local media moments and routine participation. It should be consent-based, modest and easy for older supporters to understand.

Local media hook

"Amity moves together" is stronger than "we bought exercise equipment". The story is shared access, safe movement, water, shade, routines and local stewardship.

Support

Letters and pledges

Residents, groups, sponsors and local businesses can register support without promising more than they can give.

In-kind

Skills and services

Design help, launch sessions, printing, media, site observation, maintenance walks and fundraising.

Participation

QR routine passport

Try three routines during launch month and opt in to a public thank-you board.

Care

Stewardship

Community care supports Council maintenance, but does not replace formal asset responsibility.

Privacy

Consent first

No names, photos or donations go public without permission. Keep private support private.

Growth

Town-by-town model

If Amity proves the model, other towns can clone the structure with their own site logic and photos.

Honour check

How should public thanks feel fair and safe?

A good honour board should build trust without pressuring people to go public.
