Invite paid adult participants with varied bodies and style preferences.

Intimate Values Underwear
Design intimate apparel around women's own definitions of comfort, support, beauty and identity.
Follow the connections. Choose your direction.
The need worth working on.
Women can want glamour, practicality, confidence or all three, while finding that available garments assume a narrow body. Large busts, implants, changes after pregnancy, larger bodies, different mobility and sensory preferences can require different choices. None of those features should be treated as a personality or a problem to hide.
What the enterprise could offer.
Develop a participant-led intimate-apparel design studio. Start with adult fit research and non-public prototypes, letting women decide what support, coverage, materials and style mean for them. The Aura connection could support optional design exploration, with no automated body judgement or requirement to share intimate images.
People to build with
- Adult women underserved by conventional sizing
- Garment designers seeking better fit evidence
- Small makers exploring an inclusive product range
A garment brief women recognise themselves in
Offer private ways to describe fit issues without photographs or public measurements.
Develop adjustable non-commercial prototypes with an experienced garment designer.
Let participants evaluate comfort, fastening, support and appearance in their own terms.
Revise the pattern and document which bodies still need a different design.
The first result
A participant-reviewed design brief, prototype pattern and clearly bounded fit findings.
What needs to be demonstrated.
Practical pilot
The starting evidence
Garment fit and preference can be studied through voluntary adult design research. No medical benefit or universal fit is claimed.
The open question
The source defines no garment, manufacturer, size range, tested material or customer demand.
The next measurement
Record whether the revised prototype addresses the specific fit issues participants chose.
Build the means to deliver.
Useful capabilities and resources
- An experienced intimate-apparel designer
- Paid adult participants and private fitting arrangements
- Appropriate materials, pattern-making and sample production
A possible business model
Small-batch apparel, pattern licensing or specialist design services, with inclusive fit work included in the actual production model.
A leadership decision to practise
Let participants choose whether they want practical, glamorous or blended styling. Do not use body diversity only in advertising while retaining narrow sizing.
People, consequences and decisions.
- A small fit sample may miss important body differences.
- Privacy can be compromised by unnecessary images or measurements.
- Manufacturing costs can undermine an advertised size range.
If equality were being designed now...
- Can women with very large busts, implants or larger bodies lead design decisions?
- Can privacy and attractive styling coexist with practical support and affordability?
Begin with women's own experiences across bodies, ages, cultures and places. Invite disagreement and choose a practical change together.

From the original suggestion to a working brief.
Developed from original enterprise 117 in the 500 Queens VC NEW Long presentation (slide 18) and the planning document (page 8). This expanded brief is a proposed development path, not evidence of an operating venture or a confirmed partner.
Original title: Intimate Values Underwear. The pilot, business model and learning connections on this page are proposed developments of that original idea.
