Proposal

Definition releases. The trinity, versioned like source: a v0.1 of what joyful responsible abundance means in practice, with a public changelog, drafted from the signatories' one-line definitions and argued in the open. Plenty of projects version their code this way and very few version what they are actually for. That gap is the opportunity.

Record

Why 2032 keeps coming up. Brisbane hosts the Olympic and Paralympic Games that year, and this project organises itself around the date for a reason more personal than strategic. The person writing it lives on an island about an hour from the city, and an event with a fixed date is already reshaping the place: decisions made quickly, consultation compressed, compromises struck regularly, all of it accelerating toward a day that will not move. That is a small, local, legible version of a much larger thing. Artificial intelligence is arriving in everyone's life on similar terms, fast and largely unavoidable, on a schedule set somewhere else by people you will never meet. The difference between the two clocks is that an Olympic deadline missed costs embarrassment, and the other kind is only legible afterwards. It is a target the founder uses, not a deadline anyone else is being held to.

Proposal

A gathering before the world arrives. A working proposal exists for a meeting of care, civic technology and peaceful space cooperation in that lead-up: a room where this definition gets argued in person, early enough to matter. It is a proposal, not an announced event, and it says so on its own front page.

Record

The standing reminder. The aurora will be there regardless, most nights, over both poles: the planet already wearing the garland, whether or not anyone signs anything. The future work is not to invent the pattern. It is to join it deliberately, at the scales we are responsible for.
