Luke is not the engineer, RPEQ, building certifier, surveyor, lawyer, WHS principal contractor or skatepark contractor.
Tender language that needs specialist sign-off
- Structural adequacy and repair design.
- Drainage design and levels.
- RPEQ certification, Form 15/Form 16 and as-constructed obligations.
- AS EN 14974 compliance or other technical standards compliance.
- Construction methodology, plant selection, WHS, environmental controls and quality systems.
- Tendered sum, BOQ assumptions, exclusions and commercial risk.
Specialist standard to check
AS EN 14974:2021 - Skateparks, safety requirements and test methods is listed by Standards Australia as the current skatepark safety standard. The store page should be checked by VFG or the design/certification lead before anyone buys it.
